Results obtained at low amplitude of wall shear stress (3.27 N m⁻², ♦) and high amplitude of wall shear stress 20.58 Nm⁻², ⋄). Increasing the amplitude of wall shear stress reduced the sensitivity of the response from 0.398 mm N⁻¹ m⁻² to 0.125 mm N⁻¹ m⁻² (P < 0.001, t test).
