Rat extensor digitorum longus muscles were preincubated with or without CaMKII inhibitors KN62 (left panel) and myr-AIP2 (right panel) and electrically stimulated to contract ex vivo. Samples were analysed for trisk95 (top) and CaMKII (bottom) phosphorylation and adjusted to relative to expression. Representative immunoblots are shown. Stim, electrically stimulated to contract: CON, control; DMSO, pretreated with 0.1% DMSO only: KN62, pretreated with 25 μm KN62 + 0.1% DMSO; myr-AIP2, pretreated with 75 μm myristoylated CaMKII inhibitory peptide.
