The person can have trouble breathing, swelling of their tongue or throat, difficulty talking or a hoarse voice, noisy breathing, wheeze or persistent cough, loss of consciousness or collapse, or go pale and floppy”, and is taken from parent education materials developed by the Australian professional body for allergists.34
