Kinetics of SPP1 DNA ejection followed by light scattering. YueB780 was added at time t = 0 to a dilute solution of bacteriophage SPP1. The scattering intensity reduced as a function of time. The signal recorded here at 37°C reflects the kinetics of DNA ejection from phages. A simple exponential decay with a characteristic time τ = 270 s fits very well with the data.
