Even though power spectra decreased when the input frequency increased, they were still at least 10-fold higher than the power spectra of background noise. Three frequencies (0.005/min, 0.0067/min, and 0.01/min) were multiplexed in a composite signal with an amplitude of five molecules for each input frequency.
