Precellularized embryos from WT (w¹¹¹⁸) or DSec61α mutant (DSec61α^EP(2)2567/DSec61α^P560) flies were injected with 100 ng/μl hs-GFP or hs-htt150Q in addition to 50 ng/μl hs-lacZ or hs-DSec61α wt and allowed to develop at 25°C. At 12 h after injection, embryos were heat-shocked at 37°C for 1 h and developed at 29°C for 12 h, and the numbers of hatched larvae were counted.
