Both Dmp1−/− and Arf−/− murine embryonic fibroblasts are resistant to anthracyclin-induced cell death. Wild-type (dark blue), Dmp1-null (pink), Arf-null (green) and p65-knockdown (light blue) cells were treated with either 5 μM doxorubicin (DOX) (a) or 1 μM daunorubicin (DNR) (b) to study their survival. Broken light blue lines: non-immortalized p65-knockdown cells restored with p65; brown lines: immortalized p65-knockdown cells.
