Sequencing and cloning of PCR product. Serum samples from challenged animals were analyzed by both direct sequencing and cloning followed by sequencing of the PCR products. Direct sequencing (a) and cloning/sequencing (b) of the PCR products from P68A-transfected animal 6017 at weeks 4, 6, and 8 after challenge are shown as an example.
