Pathways of intracellular ATP catabolism in rat brain. The enzymes participating in these pathways are: 1 adenylate kinase, 2 adenylate deaminase, 3 cytosolic IMP-GMP specific 5′-nucleotidase (cN-II), 4 purine nucleoside phosphorylase, 5 cytosolic AMP specific 5′nucleotidase, 6 adenosine deaminase.
