Denaturing gradient gel analysis of skin from healthy animals. BV5, BV8, and BV12 transcripts were amplified from skin cDNA. Ten-microliter aliquots were loaded onto a 20–80% denaturing gradient gel and run for 4.5 hr at 160 V at a constant temperature of 58°C. DNA was stained with ethidium bromide and photographed under UV light.
