MyoD is present in mitotic C2 cells. Mitotic and nonmitotic fractions were prepared from proliferating C2.7 cells as described in Fig. 4 C. These were immunoblotted with antibodies against MyoD and Myf5 (NH₂ terminus). The right-hand panel shows a shorter exposure of MyoD.
