The data represent the mean ± SEM of the measurements (n = 2 or 3). u-PA and t-PA concentrations in the conditioned media were measured via ELISA expressed as ng/ 10⁶ cells/48 h culture. Thioglycollate-stimulated peritoneal macrophages were freshly harvested, whereas smooth muscle cells and fibroblasts were cultured.
