Axl2/Bud10p is stabilized in pmt4 cells treated with tunicamycin and is incompletely O-glycosylated. (A) WT (MGY60) and pmt mutant cells (MGY61-66) were treated with tunicamycin (Materials and Methods). Membrane extracts were prepared, separated by SDS-PAGE, and visualized by immunoblotting. (B) Membranes of tunicamycin-treated WT (MGY60) and pmt4 cells (MGY64) were subjected to further deglycosylation by treatment with HF. Samples were separated by SDS-PAGE and visualized by immunoblotting.
