Pma1p accumulates the ER in lst1Δ cells and this accumulation is suppressed by overexpression of SEC24. Cells grown in SMM at 30°C were fixed with formaldehyde and then stained for immunofluorescence microscopy with affinity-purified anti-Pma1p antibody and FITC-conjugated secondary antibody. The same fields of cells, stained with DAPI to label the nuclear DNA, are also shown.
