Sulfated O-linked carbohydrate chains of GlyCAM-1. Oligosaccharides bearing the 6-sulfo sLe^x and the sialyl 6′-sulfo Le^x motif, which extend from the core 2 structure, are shown. The presence of the sialyl 6′,6-disulfo Le^x motif is strongly suspected. Structures of the more complex O-linked chains of GlyCAM-1 remain to be determined.
