Experimental strategy for transduction of primary hematopoietic cells with Sbf1 retroviral constructs. Sbf1 cDNAs were cloned into pSRαMSVtk-neo. Recombinant retroviral stocks were produced by using Bosc23 packaging cells and used for infection of primary bone marrow cells isolated from the femurs of BALB/c mice. Nonadherent cells growing in vitro under Whitlock-Witte conditions were characterized by using the indicated techniques.
