A431 human carcinoma cells or LB6-19 mouse fibroblasts were harvested and the chemotactic response to 10 nM of the indicated effectors was assessed in Boyden chambers. Random cell migration refers to the number of cells which migrate in the absence of chemoattractant, which is taken as 100%. The data represent the average of three experiments performed in duplicate.
SD, standard deviation.
NRS, normal rabbit serum.
