The Gin4 protein appears to undergo autophosphorylation in vivo. gin4^K48A, Δclb^1,3,4 cells and Δclb^1,3,4 control cells were released from an α-factor arrest, and samples were taken at the indicated time points and probed for the Gin4 protein by Western blotting.
