The effect of VBP1 mutations on tumorigenesis. A. tumefaciens strains were grown in MG/L medium at 28°C overnight. The cell density was adjusted to 10⁸ cells per milliliter. Then 2 μl of cell suspension was inoculated onto each wound site on the leaves of Kalanchoe plants. The tumors were photographed 35 days after inoculation.
