Erv14p localizes to perinuclear regions. Double-label immunofluorescence microscopy of CBY409 cells using Kar2p antiserum and anti-HA monoclonal antibody for Erv14p-HA detection. Differential interference contrast (DIC) indicates cell boundaries and diamidophenylindole (DAPI) stains nuclei. Note significant overlap in staining pattern of the ER-resident protein Kar2p and Erv14p-HA.
