Paxillin-GFP–containing adhesions were not detected when paxillin-GFP–expressing CHO K1 cells were plated on poly-l-lysine (a); however, they were observed when the cells were plated on 2 μg/ml Fn (b). CHO K1 cells expressing paxillin-GFP were plated on 2 μg/ml Fn for 1 h, and then images were obtained (c and e).
