The constant k120 (as well as other kij0) represents the value of k12 (and kij) at 0 mV.
The constant k140 (in s−1M−1) was calculated in order to respect the micro reversibility as described in Appendix A.
The V1/2 was obtained from a fit of a Boltzmann relation to the Q-V curve calculated with the model as described in Appendix B. The experimental values are cited in the text.
