Determined by ELISA using plates coated with rEDIII from DV1, 2, 3 or 4 produced in E. coli (pooled heat-inactivated post-DV inoculation sera from experiment presented in Table 2).

FRNT50 is the highest serum dilution that reduced the number of DV focus-forming units (FFU) on Vero cells by at least 50%.
