E. coli/B. subtilis shuttle vector pBE3 containing the β-lactamase (Ampr) gene and replicon from pGEM3 for growth in E. coli and the kanamycin nucleotidyl transferase (Kmr) gene and replicon from pUB110 for growth in B. subtilis.
