ACh-induced global Ca²⁺ spikes. Ca²⁺ waves induced by exposure of acinar cells to ACh at concentrations of 10 μM (A and B), 1 μM (C and D), or 50 nM (E and F) were imaged with a cooled CCD camera and BTC. The horizontal bars in (B), (D), and (F) indicate the duration of exposure to ACh.
