Thioglycollate-elicited peritoneal macrophages (2 × 10⁶ cells) were incubated for 12–14 hr with TSST-1 at the indicated concentrations and the MIF content of the cell-conditioned media was analyzed by ELISA. Samples were analyzed in triplicate and results expressed as mean ± SEM of two separate experiments.
