Western blot analysis of the effects of IL-1β and rifampin (Rif) on COX-2 expression in A549 cells. COX-2 expression at 24 h after stimulation with IL-1β (1 ng/ml) or IL-1β with rifampin (50 μg/ml) is compared to β-actin expression. Similar results were obtained in at least three separate experiments.
