FIG. 7.

Activation of Gag-specific T cells following prime-boost with different AAV serotypes. Another prime-boost study was performed with BALB/c mice by priming with AAV2/1, -2/2, -2/7, -2/8, or -2/9 vectors expressing HIV Gag at doses of 1011 GC followed with a boost of 1011 GC of AAV2/8 gag 90 days later. The specific CD8+ T-cell immune responses, expressed as the percentage of IFN-γ-producing CD8+ T cells upon stimulation with a Gag peptide in vitro, were measured by ICCS of splenocytes. The data are presented the same way as in Fig. 5 in terms of the definition of peak prime, preboost, peak boost, and AAV peak. Data are means ± standard deviations for four mice per group.
