HSV-infected human T cells selectively synthesize IL-10 in response to TCR stimulation. CD4⁺ T cells were isolated from human PBMC using CD4-coupled magnetic beads. T cells were incubated with mock-infected or HSV-infected fibroblasts as described in Materials and Methods, removed, and stimulated through the TCR. Secreted IL-2 and IL-10 were measured using an ELISA.
