(B) p53-null and p53R175H-producing H1299 cells were treated with TGF-β1 and subjected to a cell migration assay. Migrated cells were fixed, stained with crystal violet, dissolved in acetic acid, and analyzed for OD by using an enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay reader. The OD values represent the amounts of migrated cells (P < 0.05). (C) p53-null and p53R175H-producing H1299 cells were seeded to confluence, scratched to create an artificial wound, and treated with TGF-β1 for 24 h. The photographs indicate wound closure.
