(A) WT F9, F9 vin^−/−, and F9 vin^−/−Y822F cells were left untreated or treated with 10 μM PD 98059 3 h before they were detached from gelatin-coated plates for cell migration assays. Cells were allowed to migrate for 8 h using Boyden chambers coated with collagen. Mean number of cells per field ± SEM was calculated from at least three independent experiments. (B) WT F9, F9 vin^−/−, and F9 vin^−/−Y822F cells were transfected with paxillin Y31FY118F and wild-type paxillin. Cell migration was quantified as in A.
