The morphology of the growth cone is affected by treatment with IG2 antibody or α1-AP fusion protein in a substrate-dependent manner. Effects on morphology were seen on BM (B–D and F–H), but not on LN (J–L and N–P). On BM growth cone lamellipodia were retracted in a dose-dependent manner when adding either IG2 (A–D) or α1-AP (E–H).
