(A) The sad2-1 mutant accumulated less CPDs than the wild type during UV-B treatment. CPD accumulation in the wild type (solid line) and sad2-1 (dashed line). (B) Four-day-old wild-type and sad2-1 seedlings were treated with the indicated concentrations of the genotoxic drug MMS. Photographs were taken 18 d after treatment.
