Endogenous casein kinase Iε, dishevelled, GSK-3, and axin are present in the perinuclear region of embryonic kidney cells. E12 kidney cells were cultured for 3 d on collagen-coated coverslips and fixed in 100% cold methanol. (A–C) Endogenous casein kinase Iε colocalizes with dishevelled along actin stress fibers and around the nucleus (insets taken 4 μm above section detecting actin fibers). (D–F) Endogenous axin and GSK-3 are present perinuclearly and in reticular structures radiating from the perinuclear region. In addition, GSK-3 is present diffusely in the cytoplasm.
