Subcellular distribution of several SR/hnRNP proteins in COS cells subjected to OSM. COS cells cultured on glass coverslips were left untreated or were exposed to 400 mM sorbitol (OSM) for 2 h. The cells were then fixed and stained with monoclonal antibodies specific for hnRNP A1 (4B10), hnRNP U (3G6), hnRNP C (4F4), SF2/ASF (103), or SC35 (anti-SC35).
