Northern blot analysis of the expression of the two families of goldfish receptors. Poly(A)+ RNAs isolated from goldfish (lanes 1) olfactory epithelium, (lanes 2) brain, (lanes 3) heart, (lanes 4) liver, (lanes 5) intestine, and (lanes 6) eggs were fractionated on a 1% gel, blotted, and hybridized to a mixture of radiolabeled probes prepared from (A) GFA2, GFA25, and GFA28 and (B) GFB1 and GFB8. β-Actin served as a control.
