Western blot analysis of nuclear and cytoplasmic actin in C. tentans. (A) Nuclear and cytoplasmic extracts from C. tentans tissue culture cells were analyzed by SDS-PAGE (1 and 3, respectively) or further by Western blotting using an antiactin antibody (2 and 4, respectively). (B) For comparison, actin was purified from cultured cells by DNase I affinity chromatography and analyzed as above by SDS-PAGE (1) or further by Western blotting (2).
