Identification of pheromone-induced putative membrane proteins by data mining. Dots represent the transcriptional induction in response to mating pheromone (y axis) and likelihood of coding for a membrane protein (x axis) of all 6,116 ORFs. ORFs induced more than threefold with a MaxH score >25 were investigated further. Green, mating-type specific; orange, cell wall remodeling; blue, involved in cell fusion; red, uncharacterized PRM genes.
