Cl/I conductivity and permeability ratios for water-injected control oocytes and for oocytes expressing wild-type CFTR and truncated CFTR, respectively. When stimulated with IBMX and forskolin, only oocytes expressing either full-length CFTR or E831X had a change of the conductivity (GCl/GI) and permeability (PCl/PI) ratios toward Cl > I, indicating activation of CFTR typical Cl conductance.
