Effect of respiratory inhibitors and mutations in the respiratory chain on the expression of OLE1 and CYC7 under aerobic and anoxic conditions. Total RNA was isolated from cells grown for six generations, under aerobic or anoxic conditions, and quantitated as in the legend to Fig. 3. All transcript levels were normalized to ACT1 mRNA and are presented as a decimal percent relative to that found in strain JM43 grown under anoxic conditions, as indicated below each lane.
