(A) Inositol phosphate experiments were done as in Fig. 2 using 0.05–2 μg cDNA of GRK2 cDNA. Wild-type (PTHR) or C terminally truncated (T480), and wild-type (GRK2) receptor and kinase-inactive (GRK2-K220R) GRK2 were investigated. Data are mean ± SE from four independent experiments with duplicate determinations. (B) Western blots of the same transfections showing expression of GRK2 in untransfected (control) or transfected (GRK2 or GRK2-K220R) COS-1 cells or in mouse brain. All lanes contain ≈200 μg of lysate protein.
