Figure 1. — After LCMV infection, the percentage of virus specific splenic T cells is higher in JNK2^−/−, but similar in JNK1^−/− and JNK^+/+ mice. JNK1^−/−, JNK2^−/−, and JNK^+/+ animals were injected intraperitoneally with LCMV ARM 2 × 10⁵ PFU. 7 (D7) or 8 (D8) d after infection, spleens were processed and stimulated for 5 h in vitro with virus specific peptide GP aa 33–41. Cells were then stained for CD8 and intra-cellular IFN-γ. Values written in the dot plots indicate the percentage of CD8⁺ T cells positive for IFN-γ.
