WT mice were injected i.v. with 250 μg heat-killed and rhodamine-conjugated S. aureus in PBS. 0.5 or 18 h later the mice were killed and the spleens were sectioned and stained. Representative stains from at least four mice are shown. MARCO⁺ MZMOs (left) are stained blue and B220⁺ B cells are stained brown.
