The β-elimination glycan product of peptides labeled with [3H]Gal was subjected to size exclusion chromatography on a Bio-Gel P-2 column. This column separates mono- and disaccharides efficiently and distinguishes between GlcNAcβ1-4GlcNAc and Galβ1-4GlcNAc.
