Eyes of BALB/c mice were enucleated, snap frozen, sectioned, placed on glass slides, fixed with acetone, and stained with antibodies to CD80, CD86, and isotype IgG controls, followed by biotin-conjugated sec-ondary anti-antibodies, and then developed with streptavidin/horse-radish peroxidase and the DAB substrate. Specimens were examined by light microscopy. Staining of tissues and cells with DAB is indicated with +.
