Differentiation kinetics of the second wave of thymocyte progenitors. After adoptive transfer of E13 H.B19ov⁺ bone marrow (2.0 × 10⁶ cells) into E13 H.B19ov⁻ embryos, the donor cells were examined for T cell expression as a function of developmental age. Thymocytes of recipients were analyzed by immunofluorescence flow cytometry: ov, TCR-γ/δ and ov, and TCR Vβ1. Each dot plot presents 50,000 events for the gated thymocyte population. Hatching occurs at E21.
