Anti-HEL IgM^a antibody levels in Ig^HEL and sHEL/Ig^HEL mice that overexpress CD19. Each value indicates serum levels of HEL-specific IgM^a from individual 2-mo-old (2 mo) or 5– 10-mo-old (⩾5 mo) mice measured by ELISA. Horizontal bars indicating mean anti-HEL antibody concentrations for each group are provided for reference. The dashed horizontal line (arrowhead) delimits the 95% confidence interval for the log normal distribution of anti-HEL antibody levels observed in unimmunized 2-mo-old sHEL/Ig^HEL mice as described in Materials and Methods.
