Coinjection of CpG-DNA and
Leishmania lysate stimulates IFN-γ production. Lymph
node cell suspensions were prepared from BALB/c mice 9 days after
their ears were injected with F/T killed parasite lysate alone
(▴) or in combination with CpG-ODN 1826 (■), ODN
1911 (▵), CpG-ODN 1758 (░⃞), or CpG-ODN 1835
(□) and assayed for parasite-specific lymphocyte
proliferation (A), IFN-γ release (B), or IL-4
production (C), as described in Materials and
Methods. Results are presented as the mean (± SD) of
assays performed in triplicate. The data are representative of three
experiments.
