(B) ICV injection (at 10:00 a.m. = 0 h) of leptin (0.4, 1, and 4 μg/rat) elicited dose-dependent increases in core body temperature in SD rats (MANOVA, 0.4 μg, not significant; 1 μg, P < 0.01; 4 μg, P < 0.001 vs. vehicle, n = 5).
