Platelet counts, survival rate, and Hct and RC values (mean ± SD) were assessed individually in groups of C57BL/6J or IFN-α /βR^−/− mice (10 mice per group) at 6 days after injection of NaCl, α-Irr + LCMV, or α-PLT + LCMV (LCMV Arm given at 10⁶ pfu per mouse). OAS expression was measured as Table 1.
